Pools legend Ken Johnson today officially unveiled the Club's brand new Centenary Wall at Victoria Park - and helped launch the second phase of the special project.

Earlier this year the Club revealed plans to have a wall built with messages from the fans and the response has been excellent with over 200 bricks sold.

They were placed in our Centenary Wall last week, which has been built next to the Executive Entrance at The Vic.

"When I look at the wall I feel very proud," said Ken, whose own brick has pride of place in the centre of the wall.

"There are players who have bricks in this wall who would never in their wildest dreams have expected something like this.

"The likes of Berry Brown and Watty Moore are on there, along with Jackie Newton who is the Club's oldest living player.

"The first Manager Fred Priest has his name on there too as his great grandson and his family dedicated a brick to him which is a nice touch for them.

"I think once people see the Centenary Wall up and built they will want to be part of it themselves."

The second phase of the Centenary project is now under way with orders being taken from supporters who want to see their unique messages built in to the Club's future.

And with prices ranging from £40 to £85 and a variety of styles available they are the ideal way to show the world your loyalty to Pools!

"I think the Centenary Wall will prove to be very popular with our supporters," Chief Executive Russ Green commented.

"We're very pleased with how the first phase has gone and we're hopeful that even more fans will be interested now they've seen the end result.

"We know that our supporters are the life blood of this Football Club and this is their chance to be part of the future too."
