Saturday's Totesport International Stakes at Ascot looks a real puzzle to solve with 29 runners set to go to post, headed by Lovelace and Redford, bet365's 5/1 joint favourites.

You can make a case for half of the field, but William Haggas, who is having an excellent season, fields two strong contenders in Musaalem and King's Apostle (both currently 9/1), and they are likely to be involved in the finish.

Musaalem has only had three races but he's won all of them without being tested. He steps up in grade here but his high cruising speed will stand him in good stead in a race of this nature, while the likely fast ground is in his favour too.

King's Apostle is the more battle hardened of the pair, having had 13 races, of which he's won five, and the way he was staying on over 6f last time suggests that he's crying out for this furlong-longer trip.
