We take a look at the latest info from both camps ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two game against Plymouth Argyle at The Northern Gas and Power Stadium (3pm kick-off).

Matthew Bates is an injury concern for this weekend after being forced off with a hamstring problem during the first half of Tuesday evening’s game at Luton Town.

Dave Jones must also run the rule over fellow defender Liam Donnelly who was forced to sit out the defeat at Kenilworth Road due to ankle injury sustained in the game at Mansfield Town.

The Pools boss will have to make do without Louis Rooney who is on loan from opponents Plymouth and is ineligible due to the terms of that agreement.

Billy Paynter is still nursing an Achilles problem, Carl Magnay is still a couple of weeks away from a return to training, Rob Jones is struggling with a knee injury and Trevor Carson is out for the season following shoulder surgery.

Plymouth boss Derek Adams will be without midfielder Antoni Sarcevic for the long trip to the North-East after injured an ankle in their midweek defeat to Leyton Orient at Home Park.

However, defender Sonny Bradley, who was also forced off with a thigh injury during Tuesday’s game is still in with a chance of facing Pools this weekend.

Gary Miller, Connor Smith (both ankle) and David Ijaha (pelvis) remain sidelined for The Pilgrims.
