Nicky Deverdics was among the star performer on his return to Dover Athletic on Saturday with the midfielder earning good reviews for his display in their 1-1 draw with Wrexham.
The 29-year-old re-joined his former club on loan last week and went straight in to the starting eleven for the weekend game against the Welsh outfit.
Deverdics had a hand in the opening goal of the game on 65 minutes when his shot was too hot to handle for Wrexham keeper Chris Dunn and Joe Healy smashed in the rebound.
However, The Whites were left frustrated when their visitors levelled things with nine minutes left and the points were shared at Crabble Athletic Ground.
Meanwhile, Jordan Richards also got ninety minutes under his belt by making his debut on loan for National League North outfit Alfreton Town.
Richards’ inclusion in the starting eleven was their only change and he performed solidly as The Reds took a creditable point from a 1-1 draw with promotion-chasing Stockport County.
However, there was frustration for young Pools winger Jack Blackford who is on loan at Darlington after their weekend game against Altrincham was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
