Cooper to name strong team for tonight's game

Neale Cooper will name a strong starting line-up for this evening’s pre season friendly against Almere City at Stadium De Basis in Heiloo (6pm English time kick-off).

However, the Pools boss will again be without first choice keeper Scott Flinders (thigh) so 16-year-old Dominic Scott will continue in goal against the Dutch outfit.

Simon Walton and Colin Nish will both sit the game out due to it being played on a synthetic surface and the concern it could aggravate past knee problems.

Cooper has also revealed that he hopes to give ninety minutes to a number of his players this evening and he will not be making wholesale changes at half time as he did during Sunday’s game.
