The Pools squad have arrived safely in their training base in Holland after flying out of Leeds Bradford Airport in to Amsterdam early this morning.
Neale Cooper’s men will spend a week in the Netherland during which they will play two games against Dutch opponents Telstar (Sunday) and Almere City (Wednesday).
There may have been hope in the squad that they would be leaving the rain behind in England but the weather in Holland has also been poor and the players were greeted by quite heavy rain on arrival today.
The lads enjoyed a light lunch and will spend a couple of hours resting before they tackle their first training session at 3pm this afternoon (4pm Dutch time).
