The striker has been on loan at Victoria Park for the past three months during which he has made nine appearances and boss John Hughes was keen to keep him at the Club.
Pools have now ironed out the details of the extended deal and the 20-year-old will remain at The Vic for the remainder of the campaign.
"I'm really pleased that we've been able to get things sorted because Charlie has done well in his time with us," Hughes told us.
"The next thing we want is for him to add some goals; I think he's deserved a few goals given his performance and I'm sure they will come for him.
"His attitude to training has been spot on in everything he's done in games and in training so we're delighted that he is staying with us."
